Introducing ManageMyStable: the app your horses have been waiting for

Horse ownership is one of the most rewarding things in the world. It’s also relentlessly detailed.

There are worming cycles to track, farrier appointments to book, vaccination records to find at five minutes’ notice, feed plans to communicate to yards full of helpers who’ve never met your horse. And somewhere in the middle of all that admin, there’s the actual joy of being with your horse, which is what you signed up for.

We built ManageMyStable to take the paperwork off your plate so you can spend more time in the saddle.

What we’ve built

ManageMyStable runs in any browser and as a native iPhone app, and brings your entire equestrian life into one organised, always-accessible place. Here’s what it does:

Horse profiles & photo galleries

Every horse gets a full profile: breed, colour, height, sex, date of birth, microchip number, UELN and a photo gallery. No more digging through your camera roll to find the conformation shot your insurance company asked for.

Calendar & smart reminders

The calendar is the heart of ManageMyStable. Add any recurring task, such as worming, farrier, dentist or vaccinations, and we’ll remind you before it’s due. You can schedule one-off events too, and we surface upcoming dates right on your dashboard so nothing sneaks up on you.

Passports

Enter a passport once and have it searchable ever after: issuing organisation, UELN, registered name, species, head and limb markings, whorls, sire and dam — and the food-chain declaration a vet needs before prescribing. Insurance documents are stored against the policy they belong to.

Professional contacts, linked to your horses

Your vet, farrier, dentist, physio and instructor all in one place, and each contact can be linked to the specific horses they care for. When you need the emergency out-of-hours number at 11pm, it’s one tap away.

Feed room

Build feed recipes for each horse and schedule them by day and time, so the ration is written down instead of carried in your head. No more handwritten notes on the stable door that get rained on, and no wondering what changed last month.

Competition results

Log every result across the season and build a performance history for each horse. Useful at the end of the year when you’re planning the next season, or just for the satisfaction of seeing how far you’ve come.

Riders

Keep a list of the people who ride your horses, and name who rode on each result, ride and training session, so a family’s season can be read one rider at a time. Each rider can have an emergency contact. On Stable Plus a rider’s profile also holds their membership numbers for The Pony Club, British Eventing and the other bodies you enter through, and their hats and body protectors with a photo of the safety label, with a reminder before a membership runs out.

Forward a booking

Entered a show or booked a clinic? Forward the confirmation email to your own booking email address and it becomes a calendar entry, with the date, venue, class, horse and rider filled in. Anything it is unsure of waits for you to check, and the email itself is deleted after 30 days.

Checklists

Build a checklist once and run it every time: the morning round, the pre-competition pack, the handover you leave for a groom. Tick items off as you go so nothing gets missed on the day it matters.

Two plans, one free

ManageMyStable is free to start. The Stable plan gives you up to two horses, core profiles, a calendar and contacts, no card required, no time limit.

If you compete, run a yard or simply want the full toolkit, Stable Plus adds passports, feed room, competition results, rider profiles, forwarding bookings to your calendar, checklists, and insurance tracking with a record of your claims.

A third plan, Yard, is in development for professional yards, trainers and livery operations. It will add team access, multiple yards and reporting. It is not on sale yet, and you can register your interest on the pricing page.

What’s coming next

We’re a small team, and we would rather name a few things we are actually building than a long list we are not. No dates: an unmet “later this year” costs more trust than saying nothing.

• Shared yard access: invite co-owners, grooms and yard managers to contribute to the same horse records. This is the headline capability of the Yard plan, and the reason that plan is not yet on sale.
• Push notifications on the phone, alongside the digest email that does the job today.
• Vet record integration: structured fields for clinical notes and procedure history.
